Wwell It's been a life since I left. Wow! Where to start?! Thanksgiving 84 was good. The rest of the year not so much. Even though my folks agreed on letting me stay home, Leo was opposed to it. Mom actually was the one who broached the subject first. I got my GED and then tried to go to college. De Anza Junior College. My chosen major was Screwing Off with a minor in Laziness! 1985 Was rough and I spent a lot of time taking midnight walks to try to sort through the crap in my life and in my head. I had a friend that would come up from San Diego on the weekends. He was in the Navy then and we always had a great time. I enjoyed his stories and it seemed like a good way to get out of the house. I really needed to because it was getting to the point of physical violence between Leo and I. Never happened but it wass that bad.
I went Active Duty on the 7th of January 1986 and started my Naval Carreer. I just had my retirement ceremony after 20 years. It has been a good carreer and I have learned a lot of skills and about myself. I have been married a couple of times and am in process of divorce now but I suppose that is what happens when you don't completely deal with your issues. That is, I find, an ongoing process. But a necessary one.
Not a whole lot to say otherwise... there is but most of it you guys don't want to hear. If ya have any questions ask and I will answer. So damn good to hear from you all. I have thought about and missed you guys so much over the years!

Hey Carl, I am so gald Scott found you. 20 years, you got your pension, and you are still young. I did 5 years in the Airforce, having probably the same plan as you, but couldnt take it any more. You are the MAN.

Hey, Carl...it was good to hear about you after so many years. What now, after the Air Force? Did you know that my Dad was in the service for 30 years? I am glad you are okay - you had a wonderful sweetness that I always admired.
